A habit is a routine or behavior that is performed regularly and in many cases automatically. It is similar to a droplet in a sea.

Individual these days ignore the power of a small and consistent habit. They underestimate the value of making small improvements on a daily basis which can help them reach their goal in the long run. As one of the famous quotes from Kobe Bryant “It’s about the journey not the destination”. Improving by 1% a day is far more better in the long run rather than cursing ourselves everyday. For instance, it is like taking a small baby step everyday to reach to the goal as a matter of fact these steps won’t even take much time to complete a certain action. Take for example, if you are reading a book, reading at least a page or a two won’t take much effort and time or if you want to become fit, working-out for 20 mins to improve yourself physically and mentally isn’t much of a big deal.

It is what this compound effect of this small actions leads to greater effect. This may seem to make a little difference on a particular day but can be huge over coming months and years. But for some people the value of this small change might not bring great result quickly, so we slide back into our old habits and routines.
